Beloved Fairhill is now under new ownership and new management.
The new owners are the Wright Family, creators of the nearby Bamboo Park organic farm, nursery specialising in screening and privacy plants, and farm shop. Angela and David Wright have deep experience in horticulture, agriculture, catering and entertainment, and are committed to supporting the wonderful team of staff at Fairhill.
The Nursery continues to specialise in native plants with the addition of other speciality non-invasive plants for the garden and indoors. Investment in new nature-friendly production and plant care is already demonstrating beautiful results.
The Longhouse at Fairhill is becoming a Garden Centre and Farm Shop, stocking Sunshine Rich Pasture Raised Eggs and other artisan foods and drinks from our local farmers, growers, gardeners, producers and suppliers.
From the owners' own Bamboo Park home farm ten minutes away, happy hens provide Bamboo Park Sunshine Rich Pasture Raised Eggs. The pigs on the home farm are free to roam, forage and wallow and in return give melt-in-your-mouth Bamboo Park Sunshine Pure Pasture Raised Pork. Organic fruits, herbs and sometimes veggies also come from the Bamboo Park orchards, neighbouring orchards and gardens. The honey bees at Fairhill and Bamboo Park provide delectable Sunshine Gold Honey.
FAIRHILLS GARDEN cAFÉ RESTAURANT
The Café formerly known as Catbird is now Fairhills Garden Café Restaurant, with in-house baking, breakfasts, lunches, cocktails and cream.
Fairhill’s Farmhouse Clotted Cream Teas feature house-baked scones, family-recipe house-made Devonshire Clotted Cream, and local Preserves.
As well as in-house baking, Fairhill Garden Café Restaurant brings you handcrafted organic Sourdough Bread baked by Ten Acres Bakery, two fields away. Also, Little Wildlings and Yandina Apotheca handcrafted organic teas, chocolates, and seasonal cocktails.
Good coffee is essential and Fairhills Café baristas use locally roasted specialty coffee beans direct from small scale farmers who have been producing artisan coffee for generations. Perfect for lovers of strong, smooth and sweet coffee with notes of dried fruit, honey, toffee, dark chocolate and sweet spice.
Fairhill Nursery & Botanic Gardens are open DAILY, 7 days a week from 8am - 4pm.
Fairhill Garden Café Restaurant is also open DAILY, 7 days a week from 8am - last orders 2pm.
The Café Restaurant, fully licenced accepts orders from 8am-2pm, unless by prior arrangement.
Animal Farmyard Morning Adventures is open 5 days a week, Thursdays-Mondays 8am-4pm.
