Craft your own mythical Hatchling at Fairhill Gardens!
Join us for a fun and hands-on workshop where you’ll create a magical dragon egg-inspired piece using our eco-friendly concrete mix (60% recycled glass!). With guidance from Papa & DeeDee, you’ll mix, mould, colour, and decorate your Hatchling — and even add plants if you’d like.

Native Beekeeping 101
Presented by Ian Driver, Owner/Operator of A Green Soul Native Bees and Executive Member of the Australian Native Bee Association, well-known for his TV appearances. Arrive from 8am, with the event starting at 9am and running until 12 noon.
A Green Soul Native Bees, based on the Sunshine Coast, specializes in native stingless bees and related products.
In this engaging Native Beekeeping 101 Workshop, you’ll be introduced to both Australian stingless bees and solitary bees. Learn how to attract these valuable pollinators to your garden using plants and insect hotels. Enjoy a live stingless bee hive split, a taste of their honey, and create your own bee hotel to take home!
