Things to do in Eumundi, and after the markets
Market morning done? Fifteen minutes away, the farmyard animals, a long brunch and the gardens are waiting.
- 15 minutes from Eumundi
- Open daily 8am-4pm
- Free entry to the café, Country Store and Nursery
Eumundi is a market town, and most families plan their day around the stalls. The question is what comes next. Fairhill Adventure Gardens sits in Ninderry, about 15 minutes from Eumundi towards Yandina, and it is open every day of the week.
Trade the crowds for shade: brunch on the terrace, a Ranger-led session with the goats and chicks, and a slow loop of the gardens while the little ones dig, climb and explore. If the market bags are full of handmade treasures, our Country Store has more from local makers.
After the Eumundi Markets
The Gardens Café takes last orders at 2pm, so a late market morning still leaves time for brunch or lunch in the gardens. Entry to the café is free, and so is entry to the Nursery, where many of the plants are propagated and grown on site.
The Country Store stocks locally produced food and finds from our Local Makers' Marketplace, a natural next stop for anyone who loves the market stalls.

Eumundi with kids
Markets are a lot of walking for small legs. At Fairhill they can let off steam: listen for the Gong, meet the Rangers at Reception and spend a session with the chickens, ducks, miniature goats and guinea pigs. Sessions run at 8.30am, 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm.
Then it is off to the Forest Fairy Trail, the Little Engineers' Dig Zone and Little Sprouts indoor play, all at your own pace.

Events worth a trip from Eumundi
If the market stalls are what draws you to Eumundi, you will feel at home at our local-maker days, from the Buy Local Bonanza Day to Shop Local Saturday, and in the Country Store all year. Food is the other big draw: Country Christmas dining, the Mothers' Day weekend breakfast, brunch and picnic menus, and a Valentines' brunch feast with prosecco.
Then there are the festivals. The Famous Fairhill Spring Festival and the Australian Plant Festival fill the gardens, Fairy Twilight Hollow brings a little magic to the Forest Fairy Trail, and in December children come to meet Santa at Fairhill.
