Physical Accessibility
Parking & Entry
- Designated accessible parking spaces near main entrance
- Level access from parking to visitor center
- Automatic doors at main entrance
- Wide entrance gates suitable for wheelchairs
Pathways & Gardens
- Main paths are concrete or compacted gravel, suitable for wheelchairs and mobility aids
- Some heritage areas have natural surfaces that may be challenging
- Rest areas with seating throughout the gardens
- Accessible viewing areas at key garden features
- Map available showing accessible routes
Facilities
- Accessible toilets with baby change facilities
- Level access to Courtyard Cafe with moveable furniture
- Assistance animals welcome throughout the gardens
- Wheelchairs available for loan (subject to availability)
- Accessible picnic areas
Please Note
As a natural botanic garden, some areas have uneven terrain, steps, or narrow paths. Our staff are happy to suggest the most suitable routes for your needs. Please call ahead on 07 5343 7906 to discuss your requirements.

Companion Card
We are proud participants in the Companion Card program. Cardholders receive free entry for their companion when purchasing their own ticket. Please present your Companion Card at the entrance or when booking online.
