The baby goats and animals

When can we meet or bottle feed the baby goats?
The goats take their bottles three times a day. The 7am and 5pm feeds are Secret Farm Private Tours, prebooked, with the farm to yourselves. The 12.30pm bottle feeding happens in the Kids' Barn during normal opening, and baby goats feature in the 9.30am, 10.30am and 12.30pm Farmyard Adventures. Lots of families combine the early morning feed with a farm breakfast afterwards.
What times do the Farmyard Adventures run?
Every half past the hour from 8.30am to 12.30pm, daily. Listen for the gong at Reception announcing each session, and see the full line-up on the Adventures page.
Can we have the animals to ourselves?
Yes. Secret Farm Private Tours run before and after public opening at the 7am and 5pm feeds, and ranger-led Private Tours during the day give your group its own session, with no other families joining.

Tickets and entry

Do Day Passes have a date on them?
No. Day Passes are valid any day we are open. Just show your order confirmation at Reception when you arrive.
Do adults pay to come in?
Adults come in free with a child who has a Day Pass or Membership. Otherwise, grab an Adult Day Pass. Entry to the Gardens Café, the Country Store and the Nursery is always free.
Do carers or support workers pay?
No. Support Workers and Carers with ID come in free.
What are your opening hours?
Daily 8am to 4pm. The Gardens Café and Terrace Bar open from 8am, with last food orders at 2pm.

Fairhill closes fully on 24-26 December and 1 January.
Are you open during the Wet Season Reset?
Partly, yes. Fairhill takes a Wet Season Reset from mid February to mid March each year while we work on annual upgrades. We are not completely closed: the Nursery stays open throughout.
What if we can only come in the afternoon?
Mornings are the animals' busy time, so we encourage early arrivals. If you arrive in the afternoon you can self-guide, and your tickets include free returns for another day. You can also ask us about a private afternoon tour.

Visiting

Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs on a lead are welcome throughout, and the Gardens Café does Puppaccinos. There is a whole page for the four-legged family on Dogs Welcome.
Is Fairhill wheelchair and pram friendly?
There is accessible parking near the main entrance, wide gates, an accessible toilet, and paved or compacted-gravel main paths from Reception through the Country Store, Nursery, Terraces and Gardens Café. The carpark is gravel, so we recommend drop-off at Reception. The gardens proper have some natural, uneven surfaces. More detail on the Accessibility page.
Can we bring our own food?
We ask that no outside food or drink comes into Fairhill. The one exception is the birthday cake at a booked party. The Gardens Café serves from 8am with last orders at 2pm, and you can book a table ahead.

Parties and groups

Do parents pay at a children's party?
No. Adults are free at parties and are not counted in your booking number. We recommend booking a table so the grown-ups can order from the Gardens Café. All the party details live on the Children's Parties page.
Do you host wedding receptions?
Yes, ceremonies and receptions in the gardens with customised packages. See the Weddings page or get in touch to start planning.
Can I hold a baby shower at Fairhill?
Yes, baby showers are a Fairhill favourite: high tea, grazing platters, punch on arrival, housemade cakes and undercover function spaces in the gardens. Details on the Baby Showers page.
What about birthdays and anniversaries?
Big birthdays, wedding anniversaries and life's milestones, intimate or large gatherings up to 200 plus, with paddock-to-plate food in the gardens. See Birthdays & Anniversaries.
Is there a venue hire fee?
Book a food and beverage package to the minimum spend and your venue hire is free, depending on the package you choose. More of your budget goes into the day itself. The detail lives on Free Venue Hire.
Can you host group visits?
With pleasure. We host aged-care outings, clubs, coach groups and more: welcome drinks on arrival, lunch orders placed when you arrive for seamless service, and dietary needs taken care of when shared in advance. Start on the Group Bookings page or just get in touch.
