Rainforest Walk
A peaceful stroll through one of the Sunshine Coast's most diverse subtropical rainforest plantings
Step Into the Canopy
Tucked within Fairhill's 40 acres of native botanic gardens lies a remarkable subtropical rainforest – one of the most diverse plantings of its kind on the Sunshine Coast. What was once cleared farmland has been carefully restored over decades into a thriving rainforest ecosystem, now home to hundreds of native plant species and the wildlife they support.
The rainforest walk is a gentle, shaded loop trail that takes you beneath a dense canopy of native trees, past ferns, palms, and epiphytes, with the sounds of birdsong as your soundtrack. It's a restorative experience that feels a world away from everyday life.
